Accessibility

You may need to make changes to Moodle so it is easier for you to use. For example you may navigate with your keyboard, or require a different colour scheme.

We recommend you access Moodle via the Chrome browser, and install an accessibility extension. These extensions can be used on all web sites, not just Moodle. Extensions designed by Google can be found in this article, and third party extensions can be found here in the Google Web Store.

We try our best to make the Moodle design accessible. However each course inside Moodle is owned by the module staff. Hopefully they are following accessible course design guidelines, but if resources in your modules aren’t accessible for you, please communicate with your module tutor in the first instance.

You can also ask for support from the Disability and Dyslexia Services team, or from the Academic Achievement Team.
