Why can't I log in?

Your Moodle username and password are the same as you would use for the student portal, email, and library. For Moodle you should use only the username and not the full email address (the bit before @roehampton.ac.uk).

  • If you have lost or forgotten your Roehampton IT network account password or your username,  you may be unable to log in to Moodle.
    • For help and to reset your password or your username please contact the IT ServiceDesk by using the Need Help Button in the bottom right hand corner of the ServiceDesk home page

      Then, click on Chat with us to speak to an Agent during working hours (Mon - Fri 9-5); Outside these hours you can use the ChatBot to log a Service Desk ticket using your personal email address (if your Roehampton account is not working)


Once you have a working password again, please sign up to the Roehampton password self-service to change or reset your password. NB The password self-service does not work for non-Roehampton staff.

External examiners and some external staff members may need to contact Moodle support directly.
